yes, i could talk about what's in and out, or the do's and dont's, or any combination thereof. but you could probably find that more eloquently written elsewhere. and since everything FASHION is all a matter of opinion and taste, and is mostly just recycled from older eras anyways, i don't really care about the most current rules.
alright, so here's my latest 'test' shoot. ithyle griffiths, the photographer, found these kids on the street and asked if he could shoot them. they all brought their favorite wardrobe pieces from their own closets and i worked my magic building and creating new complete looks from their existing stuff. it was quite fun actually.
and also a GREAT example of how to shop your own closet. have a friend come over, pull out some of your most favorite things to wear and ask them how they would wear it. layer pieces and throw in some fun accessories and you might just come up with a new great outfit that you would never have thought to put together yourself.
